 Involvement of person with disabilities in Development

Development is the process of making things better than before in a better way.  There isn't any proven reason about who can be of help in development. If we take a building as an example of development, an engineer can be a designer, planner but a building is made by a  constructor. Likewise a person with disabilities may or may not be a constructor but they can be a good engineer. What am i saying is that development with the involvement of person with disabilities can't be said as a disability development. Development is just development, I don't find any difference in involvement.

The main concept of development is to improve the quality and service as a positive response from public. It may not concern how the road was build or who made it. When something gives a easier life through developed things, involvement doesn't matter.

    Why such involvement is needed?

1. While developing something,ideas of persons with disabilities can be so that it doesn't make difficulties for anyone.
2. Unlimited access to information can be provided by a person with disabilities.
3. Readymade building won't have to reconstruct later.
4. Even a person with disabilities will be able to attend school, college, cultural heritage, shopping centre ife they are build by inclusive development thought.
5. Involvement of a wheelchair users in development makes it accessible for wheelchair users since the beginning of the development. 
6. By involving three wheeled vehicles user a road can a better for differently abled people.
7. Visually impaired person's involvement can gives a slight ideas of how development be differently for general person and visually impaired person. 

Person with disabilities and their experiences in order to improve development is the best way to get the latest version of development i.e inclusive development. Talent, management is needed for the thing to make it better so involvement should be without hesitation and bias.

What was the first thought in your brain by the above picture? A building, people,....... While we are taking about development, we can definitely see a well built building but what about inclusive development, there seems a development but how can it be called a developed as its creating difficulties for the person with disabilities. Well i am not  trying to say that there is decriminalisation just seeing this picture, but if development is for all it should be seen clearly. If a office plan to hire professional worker and he/she seems a person with disabilities than the first solutions is to make easy way out like by building a lift, slanted way to pass wheelchair as so on. We are rich in cultural heritage but most of them are out of reach for the person with disabilities. Involvement of differently abled people it will be easy to build new thing with the mixed ideas of both abled and differently abled people.

In conclusion, development is meant for people so it includes everybody's ideas in development and it should involve  people with disabilities. It should be noted that the development has to be beneficial for all.
