WORLD REFUGEE DAY

  World Refugee DAY - 2022

 (Theme: Whoever, Wherever and whenever)

Introduction:

In general term, refugees are the people who are forced to run away or anyone who have fled from their particular country to survive from war, violence, conflict and so on. Refugees mostly seek for the ways/path which leads safety. World Refugee Day was established on 20th June, 2001 by United Nation to encourage and to honor refugees around the world. Since then World Refugee DAY is celebrated on 20th June every year.

World Refugee Day is started to celebrate with the aim to giving encouragement for being able to protect themselves from hard situation as well to honor the strength and courage they had for their safety. As we all know about the value of life and one has right to escape if he/she is facing violence, unbearable impact from war and any life risky conditions. Refugees who are able to survive war are the warrior within themselves as they not only came out of the death end but overcome their mental stress they had to face so everyone should salute them as well. Celebrating refugee day is the best appreciation one could give to refugees.

World Refugee Day is the day which was originally established to show care, love, compassion, kindness and humanity to refugees. Those who had enough courage to give importance to their life and safety rather than sacrificing life or being hopeless are definitely worthy of respect. Being a human, emotion stability is the greatest weapon which make us optimistic about anything. If a refugee can flee from any drastic circumstance, he/she will be able to bring changes in their life for sure so they should be humbly welcome by any nation.

  Reasons for searching safety

1.    Protection

Being a refugee the first thing a person seek is protection of life and to avoid  conflict, violence and inhumanness from native nation he has right to migrate to another country.

2.    Easy escape access:

All nation should make the easy access in border for a refugee and borders shouldn’t be close if they are seeking an access to run away from one nation to other.

3.   Fearlessness:

When a refugee starts a life in any other nation he lives with a fear that he might be driven away from there at any time so they shouldn't be ill-treated as if he is not wanted there.

4.    Without discrimination

P.   People shouldn’t be discriminated based on race, religion, gender or country. A nation should treat them fairly as well.

5.    Humanity

E        Eeryyone should show humanity if one is in trouble are is seeking concern. They shouldn’t be treated badly.

To conclude, as everyone as right to live so do the refugees. When a person runs away from their own nation in order to be safe they must be welcome wholeheartedly. Those who was force to leave their country, job, property and loved ones they shouldn’t be treated as an outsider. We can only hope for the peaceful nation, religious tolerance and impartiality.
