      Ghode Jatra     Ghode Jatra is one of the annual festivals of Nepal which is basically celebrated in Kathmandu - Tudikhel. The word Ghoda refers to horse and Jatra means festival , so ghode Jatra is the festival of horses. Ghode Jatra is celebrated in the month of March - April. On the day of ghode Jatra Nepal Army performs various acts by riding horse, horse racing, horse parade, various performances can be seen in Kathmandu - Tudikhel ground. Public holiday is given in this day where most of the governmental office remains closed. "It is said that Gurumapa  - one of the demons used in live in Kathmandu and the kids started disappearing day by day which was believed to be because of Gurumapa so people tried various ways to scare Gurumapa but nothing could scare him and once people chased him upto Tudikhel ground where many horses ran towards Gurumapa which injured him and he finally got scared and ran away so Jhode Jatra was believed to be started since then".  During

Sports journalists are the types of journalists whose news coverage is mainly associated to sports. The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) was formed on July 1924 and it established  World Sports Journalist Day in 1994. Since that  World Sports Journalist Day is celebrated worldwide yearly on 2nd July.

The main reason of celebrating World Sports Journalist Day is to acknowledge the effort of sports journalist as well to promote sports all around the world. Sports is also associated to our health as it plays an important role to improve our health. Sports makes our body fit, strengthen our bone and muscle, increase stamina, flexible our body as well helps to keep our heart healthy. Sports related workout keeps our body healthy and calm our mind too. Sports has become the compulsory news section in printed newspapers, online news platform, audio and visual news too. Olympic, world up and other sports has become the biggest craze among people all over the world. Sports has somehow created special bond within people where not only national but also an international sports are bounding people together. All aged group people are fond of sports, some take as a source of entertainment, some take it to maintain healthy lifestyle whereas some take sports as passion and goal for future plans. Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, M.S Dhoni, LeBron James, Michael Jordan and many other has fan followers all over the world. Sports craze are not limited within the national, it has created a huge family as a supporter.

Sports Journalism seems a way of sports news coverage but it is way more than that. Being able to be a sports journalist one has to have a knowledge of various sports, its rules and regulations, aim and objectives of sports, practice exercises of particular sports and many more so its not anybody's cup of tea. It may sound a interesting and cool yet it is a risky job where the journalist has work really hard in the field while carrying heavy cameras, hanging on a chopper, crane. Sometimes journalist has to capture momentum of ongoing sports either from high altitude or goes underneath the swimming pool to cover the details about the game. Journalist covering news of car or bike racing, bull fighting, skating, paragliding, has to go through life risky situation yet some journalist are not recognized well for their job. Sports are the talkative topic everywhere which indicates the importance of sports and sports has brought harmony among people regardless any country, religion, race and so on.

Hence, sports journalist are the source of information for everyone who provides new updates regarding sports risking their own. Hard work of sports journalist are to be recognized and they should be praised for the work and risk they had to face in the sports field. So World Sports Journalist Day is the best way to express gratitude towards sports journalist. Sports has become one of the best source of entertainment, informative, knowledgeable etc. For the hard work of sports journalist we should be thankful to them.
